also...

Gee wizz, I almost forgot...I was spoiled today too! I got a new KitchenAid red food processor! It's awesome...used it tonight. Mike got me a Starbucks gift card and Haylee got me an Old Navy gift card. THEN, Fed Ex showed up with a package for me......a new black Solas Grace Satchel handbag. You open it and there is a lighted piping around the inside. Never had seen or heard of such a thing. I LOVE IT. Not just the lighting part, but the handbag itself is great! Good pick Bryan!

Ok, back to watching Annie!

Valentines Day!

Well, today was a great day! Started out by sleeping in, that's always a good day. Next I shipped off my phone which I sold on eBay yesterday. Bring on the Bold! (Bought a Blackberry Bold on eBay, just waiting for its arrival)

My treat to everyone today was that I would cook whatever they wanted for Valentine's day dinner. Bryan picked fish, so I made him 'brown bag halibut with mango salsa'. Apparently it was good...I don't eat fish, so didn't try it. He also bought some pre-made crab cakes so I baked those for he, Mike and Zach (Mike's friend who stayed for dinner) Mike picked mac n cheese so I made a homemade batch...now that I did eat...yummy! Haylee picked chicken breast, spinach salad (which she made and cut up the carrots, cucumbers and added snap peas), and chopped potatoes in herbs, butter and olive oil in the oven. It all turned out pretty good. So tomorrow will be leftovers.

After dinner we all watched the NBA Slam Dunk contest. Those guys are amazing. Now we are watching Annie. Always a fave around here, atleast to Haylee. Mike, not so much ;-)

Well, that's it for today.

Valentine's Eve

I don't know how you bloggers keep up with blogging. Between emails, Facebook and Twittering, its a full time job. ;-)

Anyway, here were are Valentines Eve! Sold my 'new' phone on ebay and decided to go back to the Blackberry world and bought a Blackberry Bold on ebay. Woo hoo! Can't wait for it to get here.

Went out to dinner with the fam, less Mike, he went to a movie with a buddy. Looking forward to hearing how "Taken" was.

Tomorrow Bryan and the kids get to pick what they want me to cook for them for Valentines Day dinner. Mike picked homemade mac n cheese, Bryan picked halibut and crab cakes and Haylee has yet to decide....imagine that. One top of our vday dinner each of us has to write out what they love about one another. We'll see how that goes. Mike just has so many loveable things to say about his lil' sis ;-)

So, now I am sitting here waiting for Mike to get home and watching Bryan play Barbie's with Haylee and listening to her tell him how to play the right way. Very particular.

Well, that's enough for now. Happy Valentines day everyone!
